Dear Atherton Families:

Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Atherton Elementary School! I hope your summer was restful and filled with special moments. We are thrilled to welcome our students back and continue the incredible momentum we’ve built together.

Last year, through the hard work of our students, staff, and families, we made significant gains in reading, math, and science. These improvements reflect our shared commitment to academic excellence and student success. This year, we are setting our sights even higher—and we know that together, we can continue this upward trend.

One of the most important ways you can support your child’s academic growth is by ensuring they are at school every day and on time. Class begins promptly at 8:00 AM, and every minute of instruction counts. Consistent attendance builds strong habits and helps students stay engaged, confident, and on track for success.

We also encourage you to be actively involved in our school community. Whether it's volunteering, attending events, or simply staying informed about your child’s progress, your engagement makes a powerful difference. We’ll be communicating regularly through newsletters, school apps, and family events—please be sure to stay connected.
